I opted not to get the drop tail. So I bought the support bridge lift to put under the bike to lift up the rear in case I wanted to remove the wheel. Saved $50.00 there.
Yes I can. You just have to make sure the pedal is in the middle. The locking bridge also holds it in place, should you loose air all together.
Anyone ever use the comparable Harbor Freight bike lift (1,000 lb air hydraulic motorcycle lift)? Naturally it's made in C***a -- sorry, it's a bad word, so I couldn't spell it out.
I have the harbor freight lift, yes made in Ch**a , does what I need to do and i keep the wheels off the cement floor and out of the poss water the sometimes come in. kind of like a rice paddy

I bought this Tec-lift from Tool a & Equipment Connection in Atleboro Ma. We've been using it for two years with no problems. Was 650.00 in 2005 w/drop out rear and jack.
