Default What's it worth?

I may have to sell my bike .
It's an 04 FLHTPI with less than 7000 miles.
I added an after market tour pack, highway pegs, 2-up seat, passenger floorboards.
Any idea what it may be worth?
Here's a pic...
Thanks

I think you go to Kelly Blue Book on line and get that information. Also, NADA might have a site too. You could also just go by a dealership and get ahold of the used bike guy and ask him for his opinion, if trying to sell yourself.

Good looking bike. Hate to hear you might have to sell.

.....and now the bad news....forget Kelly Blue Book, forget Nada...it's worth a lot to you, and a lot less to someone else... I just picked up the latest copy of "Boat-Cycle-RV TRADER" here in Mass, and there must be a dozen Touring bikes between the years 200-2006 that are sellin for between 11-14k, an example is a 2002 E-glide Classic with 200w stereo, and removable tour-pak with 7800 miles sellin for 11,500!(page 78) I would say a ball-park guess on your bike would be in the 12,5K-13.5K range.

It also depends on if your looking for a fast sale....or dont mind holding out until you get your price. I usually just ask for a fair price taking into consideration several factors....then add a few bucks to that so I have room to haggle a bit, and leave it at that. Check out NADA and KBB.com, look on ebayfor closed auctionsof similar bikes in your part of the world. Check out the Want Ad or other printed publications.....then come up with a fair price. If you want to sell it you will HAVE to price it very fairly because right now its a buyers market for used HD's.

That is a sweet looking bike dude.....I hope your selling it to buy a new one....and if not I hope your selling it for a dam god reason!

I am a little reluctant to answer these kinds of posts anymore. Last one I saw, some of us gave some honest answers that others didn't want to hear and things got ugly.

Reality is, bikes are not worth what they used to be, and if you get NADA retail you are going to be lucky. You can price it at NADA and you might get lucky and sell it, or you might have to come down on the price. You can stick a ridiculous price on it and not even get a call, which is just a waste of your add money. What ever price you put on it, include that you will consider reasonable offers.

Agree it a nice looking bike. If I had the money I would buy it and make ita solo seat bike. PI bikes have a cool look. Good luck and hope you get a fair price.
