12"er's were the highest I've ridden and they felt pretty good. Some bikes just look better with apes but for the guys that say they handle better [sm=bs.gif] Have you ever seen a racer with apes? [sm=noooo.gif]

Some people only appear as idiots, then they either open their mouth, or type on a forum and remove all doubt....

I only have a set of mini-apes on the RKC, but I love them. Great hand position for me. Just don't like the hand position for the lower bars. And my control is just fine, thank you. I didn't do this for looks, but comfort. As soon as I sat on the bike and grabbed the bars, it was more comfortable than the other versions of bars I've had on rides. At my age, I'm all about comfort.

ironbutt62 Exactly Went from 92softail with 16 apes to 02 hertiage with 16 apes to 08 ultra. 101 percent agree with everything except cant give up apes. putting on cyclesmiths 16 + buying heated gloves. joe

I use brakes on the STREET....ya got a problem with that too????????????????

Yeah here's my racer, I like to drag race every chance I get...I've never backed down to a challenge yet.
