Badly wrecked '07 Road Glide getting put back together
Guys,
Most of you know me from the head-on accident I was in on my new Road Glide back in August. Although I'm still unable to walk and confined to my home, I AM able to wrench on my scoot in the garage to pass the time away.
I've managed with one leg and a Craftsman stool to take all the mangled metal off the left side of mybike. Next step is to get all of that blood off my primary cover and start the removal of the fairing.and install the exhaust.
I did change out my a/c for a stage 2 big sucker, and put on my new C&C seat. Btw... the seat is awesome and fits like a glove. I would give them an A+ for quality and service.

Ok... so I think the "Snap Crackle Pop" theme seems to fit the best. Thanks ROLLNTIGER!... all myupdateson the project will be named as such.
Here's something funny you all should hear. Makes you think twice how competent ourjustice system is (at least in California)...
So today, Ihobble out to the mailbox, a little sore and beaten up by the wrenchin' I been doing...
Hmmmm.... a letter from Superior Court... better open 'er up and see what's inside. So, I begin reading the letter... blah, blah blah, blah blah blah etc. Then... "YOU ARE BEING CHARGED FOR HIT-AND-RUN, DRIVING OUT OF CLASS AND NO INSURANCE. Your court day is January something something.
I'm thinkin' WTF... you got to be kidding. Checked with DMV... my M1 endorsement is fine, Checked with Geico... all's good as well. I'm thinking these bastards got nothing better to do than F*** with people, wasting taxpayer money.
So I've been thinking... maybe I'll just show up in court and bring my proof of the license and insurance. When they get to the hit-and-run partI'll just say something like, "I thought about stopping your honorbut, when I looked down and didn't see my foot, I thought I'd better not."
