First thing I did on my 06 SG was 2" Rush mufflers. Low on funds right now but plan on getting a Power Commander. I found a Indie that will do the job for 1 hr labor($60) plus $340 for the box. He said the dyno will cost $240, I haven't check around much for cost on the dyno but sounds reasonable. Good Luck.
Just go to Fuelmoto and get the powercommander. He has the Rush mufflers, the PCIII USB, already proven dynoed power curves for the set-ups and the K&N air box. He can set you up. You can install the PCIII yourself. The mufflers aren't that bad if you haven't ever done it. Give Jaimea call. He also gives another year on the manufacturer warrantee for the PCIII.

I agree completely. I have the Rush 1.75 baffles, PCIII(from Jamie at Fuelmoto)and Ness Big Sucker. Great combo. Don't pay anyone for a PCIII install it is a 15 min job if your taking your time. Just my .02
Also while I'm at it I'll get my .02's worth Buy a J&S jack and do some stuff yourself. It will pay for itself after a few of these little install jobs and oil changes etc. It makes working on your bike so much easier and fun. jmho take it for what it is worth.
i do not know why the type is coming out like this .??help
regarding your question
i have an 07 sg and i did it all and regret it except for the pc3. all other a waste of money. the 07 runs great and you will not gain much from pipes and air filter and this was documented in some magazines that conducted various tests .
the pc3 is good becasue it helps to make the bike run cooler .
the pipes do not add much
the air filter as stock is superior to any.and actually gave better performance than the kn which i also have on my bike
i started out with stock but when hd did the recall for smooth torque curve they screwed up my bike so i went with the pc3 and dynoed it and the bike raqn great
i then added kn and a 2 into 1 and the gains were only at the higher rpm, sform 4,600 or so to 6,200
So far I have done the Rinehart True Duals, Vance & Hines Big Sucker and the ThunderMax ECU upgrade. The bike is certainly running better than it did stock, but is it running $1500 better? I dunno... Gonna do a HeadQuarters 103" Touring kit next... That should make things a lil' bit more interesting...
Rinehart Rinehart Rinehart Rinehart Rinehart did I mention I have rinehart TD on mine and they sound great. Powercommander with KN from fuelmoto. I caused my buddies to upgrade [sm=badbadbad.gif]
