I had the Mini Beast on my Road Glide. It was loud but the mounting bracket cracked
and I replaced it with the HD air horn.

So where so you mount the stebel compressor? That mod sounds great. I would like to keep the original horn cover if possible.

Yes its very loud, I have tried many different horns (Howards etc). Yes the orginal design of the MB did crack. They changed the design last year. Its solid!

Check out https://www.hdforums.com/m_2299513/tm.htm

I posted links to the horn and a guy who details how to take it apart. There is also a post and picture from a forum member of where he mounted the compressor.

Put a nautilus on mine. Its not the most gorgeous horn, but a little paint and some harley inserts make it look pretty good. As far as loud, everyone that stands next to it when I hit the button usually jumps the first time they here it. 139 db $45 bucks at Harley in Ft. myers, Fl. About an hour to install, takes a relay to operate. Cowbell has to come off.
