Sorry NOBODY...I was anAirdale onboard the Kennedy and was picked as the Sailor Of the Quarter onboard at the time for some R&R with you dudes; after all these years my best recollection was that your ship was on anti-sub duty. The first day I was onboard I got my Navy white uniform greased-up in back pretty bad...seems you guys coated the railings with grerase to keep 'em from corroding from the salt spray?
My first day you guys had a Horse Race going on? Some of ya even dressed up like women for the pararde? Very strange but I had a lot of fun. When I met your skipper he was wearing his dress uniform with underwear and sandles...
I was on your ship around April or May of that year. Do you remember a tall red-headed US Navy guy wondering around waiting for the Sheik to open up the vault so I could get a beer!
