OIL LEAK
Has any one had any problems with oil blowing back out of the carb air filter area. I have a 02 Road King with only 6K, and it just starting doing this last week end. Any help would be great.

I don't know if I answerd you in another area, but a couple of people are asking the same question. The oil coming out of the breather is normal, and there are a couple of ways to fix it. You have to understand that the pressure being developed when the pistons are going up the jug is intense, and lubricating oil has to move up with the rings. It's not always possible for all of the oil to be recirculated and it is looking for the path of least resistance to move. Since the breather allows air in, it can allow oil out. There are a couple of solutions to this problem, but before just going to the dealer, read the article on this subject by Donny Peterson in an older issue of American Iron Magazine (AIM) He explains in detail the problem causes and solutions to fix it. If you don't get this magazine and you ride a Harley, your doing yourself a huge disservice. I have the issue, and can fax you a copy of the article if you need it.
