I bought a dual touring corbin for my 07 ultra in May at Myrtle beach. They installed it - well the screw in the back that holds the thing on comes loose on a regular basis - and I probably need to locktite the thing down but looking on their site now - I see the new seats come with some kind of locking screw which requires a key to remove the seat
I paid a lot of money for this seat and would be interested in getting it more secure. Does anyone know if those Keyed - locking screws (or whatever its called) are available somewhere?
I ordered a Corbin Classic Solo through my dealer to save 15%. That was about 7 weeks ago but I still don't have the seat. It took about a month for the seat to get to the dealer and the order was completly wrong. The dealer called Dale, Corbins NJ rep to get the order straight. I'll probably have to wait another month to get the seat I actually ordered.
Sorry for the rant. \
Getting to your original question, The only seats that I have seen with the locking mechanism so far, have been the solo seats although they may manufacture others. Even so, I don't think you can add that feature as it is built into the seat. I would call corbin, maybe you can send the seat back to them and they will build it into your seat.

Ah have a feelin' that yer simply not gettin' it tight 'nuff. Is it screwed down on an ear that comes out the back of the seat like the stock saddle? If so, replace the lock washer - use the internal-tooth star type....

I bought a Corbin Classic Solo for my 06 bike and it does have the locking mechanism and it may just be that the dual touring type which mounts to the screw hole in the rear fender doesn't come with that feature.
a little blue locktite will work till or if you can get some kind of lock. If you want to make it harder to steal, you can buy security screws at some hardware stores or online, they look like a allen head but have a post in the center and require a special allen wrench to put on and remove, they dont cost much.
Corbin Seat Lock are NOT MADE on ALL of there seats.. I know it's standard on there SOLO but I also have a Dual Tour and it was NOT OFFERED on this seat...

TR s right on top of this one, a dual tour mounts with the same screw that the stock seat uses.
