Looks sweet, man!!!! I just got back from dropping off my King for a 95" and was thinking about pc on the chrome engine parts. After seeing your machine I'm thinking about it a lot harder!!!
You know Mopar, the thought never crossed my mind. Don't know why, but it didn't. I just added it to the list for round 2. Thanks.
Hey Bobby - The reason I decided to anodize is because of the tight fit. I was afraid PC would add too much material and I wouldn't be able to get the Nano in the Vertebrae. I'm not exactly sure if they will use the hard anodize or not. Something to check into. I'm waiting on doing it until this other part I am having made is done so I can have them both done at the same time. My Dad designed a cover that will mount in the exposed caliper mount on the right side. It should look pretty good if the machine shop ever gets around to making it for me. It's been a month.
Hoz - Blacking out the outer primary cover, timing cover, trans cover, horn, push rod covers, lifter blocks, and rocker boxes would look killer on your King. Go for it.

Yup, it's a done deal - I just got the green light from my wife on it. I'm gonna do the exhaust heat shields too.
90 degree what????? You Texans really do have a language all your own.
I'm still not convinced the stock bars are going to stay, so I didn't have them done. Once I settle on bars, I will PC them. I am also kicking around putting one of those Klockwerks dash panels on, so I didn't PC the stock one.
I'm going to leave all the engine parts the way they are for now. I think it looks good with the engine basically framed by all black parts. Give a nice contrast. ****, I'll probably change my mind 5 times in the next few months anyway.
I need to stop spending money on this useless crap and start saving for a motor build!
I gotta say, I'm usually not a fan of spoked wheels (probably because I know what a bitch they are to clean!) but your bike looks SO cool with them. It's something different on a RG and I love it!
