I know alot of people don't talk about trikes on this forum but I just wanted to know if there are very many people on the forum that have trikes? I work with a good friend of mine that has an 2005 ultra and he is wanting to convert it into a Lehman trike. So does anyone have any Lehman trikes? What's the pro's and con's?
I know it costs alot and my dealer sells them fast as he gets them, he had two that came in and were gone in two weeks. There probly is a trike forum somewhere if you do a search.
If it's a 88" 05 he will be disappointed with the performance of the trike....I have a 07 Goldwing Trike and a 07 EGC...the 07 with the 96" 6 speed would be OK.....If I were triking a 05 I would have the motor increased to at least 96, maybe 103.....and look into a baker 6 speed....
might be cheaper to find a 07/08 HD that has been triked and work a trade. Had a friend that triked out a 06, very poor performance...
I love my Harley, but very underpowered in stock form for a trike, lot of added weight with a trike....
My whife has a gl1800 trike, its a trike shop kit did it myself, nice kit, independant suspension, 5 gal aux tank, running boards, reverse, power locks, power hatch, hydrolic preload adjustment and so on,people walk right past my bike to look at hers. That 6 cyl. is no joke either it will smoke the tires just have a hard time getting use to the bike, on a wing you ride on the bike ( straight up like in a dining room chair) on a H-D you ride in the bike, but she loves it thats all that maters to me.
