There are tons of vendors out there that sell music systems for Road Kings! You can do a search on this site, or Google it! The best one I've seen was the Dragon Fly Concept fairing! Lots of sound with 4, 6" speakers!
do you have hard or soft bags? It can be done with hard bags and I have seen pictures of it done with soft bags---don't know about the quality with soft bags

Does anyone have any ideas about putting music on a Road King.
If you don't mind having a tank bag, you could use a unit starcomm advance. It's an amp that you can route your iPod or audio device through a headset in your helmet. Just a thought.
I was thinking about adding speakers, and an amp, to my saddlebags. Then you can hook up your mp3 player to it. I have the rk custom bags, and have not seen it done, yet. But, I am sure it will work, and would cost a lot less than a detachable fairing. You can also get a four channel amp. That way you can run two 6x9 (one in each bag), get a set of hogg chopps, with the glove boxes (available the first of the year, I am told). Then you will have the stereo effect. This will definitely be one of my prodjects, once I get the engine build out of the way. Contact me in you want what little information I have found out, so far. BTW, anyone with more info, please chime in.
On eof my Buddies Rides a Road King and he wanted the same thing so what he did was added (2) 6X9's in each Saddlebag and then took a set of old Spot lights and installed 3" speakers in them and Mounted them on his Bars. He added a 400 watt Amp to his Saddlebags to push it and Mounted his Ipod and the Bike Rocks
