Its winter so lots of time to improve bike.Im thinking a Wheeldock centerstand is in order. To those that have ordered them-which looks better a Chrome or black one?I know this is a personal opinion thing but curious what people that have them think. Thanks
I ordered a black one and I'm glad I did, since it showed up all scratch so it was easier to repaint. I think they could do better on the packing of the centerstandto protect it. I called them at let them know too.
I just got one in black and like it cause it blends in with the frame.
Took about 10 minutes to install and all afternoon to learn to use it correctly. The secret is to make sure both of the pads are touching ( I wasunknowingly leaning the bike to the right in anticipation of a reaction from the left push). The owner of the company was very understanding and talked me through it. Once I figured out what I was doing wrong, It was very easy to get the bike up on the stand.
I bought a Rivco centerstand that was chrome. It looks really good when it's down and you don't really see much of it when it's up. It was a great addon and easy to install, makes cleaning the rear wheel a LOT easier
I want to add that i have the HD version (who knows who makes it?). It's the Chrome one and it looks great when it's down. It really brings out the chrome on the left side when it's sitting straight up as opposed to being on the jiffy stand.
