Sirius is not buying Xm, it's a merger. Read the facts See which stock you would rather be owning right now. The only think Sirius is having the upper hand so to speak is there CEO Mel Karmasin will be running the new CO.
Who cares? Get an Ipod and listen to what YOU want whenever YOU want it.
Well really I care, but if you would look at say the XM Inno you would see you can do anything your Ipod can do plus listen to sat. radio and record the song too. Or copy off a CD or the net.

I don't know anything about the new XM stuff but you are saying that I can buy songs on Itunes, load them on my computer and then load them on the Ipods of everyone in my family, back up the photos from my camera, create playlists of my favorite songs for different occasions, watch movies and TV showsand have no monthly fee? That seems cool I'll have to check it out.
Checked it out. It does seem like a nice product. If I was willing to pay to listen I would definately be interested you can only store 20 hours of your own music though. Right now I have a built in XM receiver and an XM Roadie that I got free but I don't have a subscription for either one.

No I didn't say that. You said listen to music in your post. The XM will not make toast or does it have a breathalyzer. If 20 hrs. of music isn't enough for you than your right. But I wonder what 10,000 hrs of music you bought on Itunes cost? I like setting my Inno to record at night and the next day it's full of new music and it only cost what the sub. fee was. Oh well it's not like I'm selling them so enjoy your pod.
I love my XM I have had it for almost 5 years in all of my vehicles. O & A are hillarious. Like Howard, they are only tolerable in small doses.Although they did introduce me to "2 girls 1 cup."
The inno is awesome!!!!
I'll be glad when the merger goes through. They have to allow it. The companies can't survive without it. Particularly Sirius. They will both go under... but Sirius has a huge debt load and fewer subscribers.
