I recently joined the PGR and have been looking for a suitable mounting system to display the flag in parade formations. I found the site below, at flagpoletogo.net just wondering what others use and have found to work. Harley Davidson Hitch Mount Model (Model FP-HDHM)
This flagpole holder is designed to fit all Harley-Davidson FLT and FLH models. The two small receiver tubes bolt onto the lower fender, and or saddlebag supports and remain virtually unseen. The flagpole holder bar can then be installed or removed from the receiver tubes in seconds by removing two safety pins. Included is one flag holder socket. One or tow more can be added (sold separately below) to accommodate up to three flags. The sockets accommodate up to 1 ¼†poles and are maintained at a 15 degree angle to their bases. They can be rotated and tightened to display your flags, angled to the rear, sides, diagonally, or any combination of these. All components are machined from aircraft quality aluminum and steel and polished to a flawless finish and triple chrome plated.
The one you've pictured up above is identical to the Rivco Products unit...and I've seen lots of PGR members using that one. It has two advantages over others, in that you can remove it easily, leaving nothing that detracts from the looks of the bike, and also that you can add additional flag holders to it.
Yep, the one pictured IS the Rivco mount, along with the description detailing the mount. Awesome unit. When I first mounted a 3x5 flag to my Electra Glide, I used a couple pieces of plywood u-clamped to the saddlebag guard rail. Next was some pvc tubing across the top of the tour pack rack with "t" fitting on either end for the poles to slide down through into another set up (same arrangement) This worked well for a couple years; but you lose the use of your tour pack with this. Finally I went with the Rivco system and love it. I run two 3x5 flags on mine and it's excellent. Kind of pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

I have used this mount for over a year now and it is as solid as the day I put it on. I run a 3x5 flag and have run a 4x6. You will have more trouble with the flag poles than the mount. We try to stay under 50 mph on the escorts. With rolled flag you can run what ever you want. Pricey but some times more saves money
