RE: Relocating - who should I use to ship my 'Glide
I'd take it to your dealer and ask them to box it up and ship it out to the local dealer closest to where you are moving. Right now is a good time to do this as they will be uncrateing new bikes there fore they will have a crate useable for you to ship yours in and the dealerships will have the fork trucks to load and unload your bike. Also that way you will get to meet and greet with your new freindly local dealer.
we used to ship bikes for people all over the place if they came in and made arrangements for it.

I used Allied van lines from connecticut to Houston.... was 728.00
they picked it up at a friends shop and then delivered it to a dealer down here. They were recommended from a dealer.

There are many car haulers going that way. If you can get to a terminal for info, there is a welth onf info. This would not be covered of course. This is free money to them because the bike takes up no room. I have done this a few times. I bought a bike (FL road king)in Auston TX & shipped it to Ft. lauderdale. Cost me $350 cash.

I am relocating due to work, and will be moving from the east coast to Colorado. I would use this as an opportunity to do a cross country ride, but time constraints, and weather won't let that happen.
Anyone have any recommendations on whom to use or avoid to ship my Roadglide cross country?
My relocation contract doesn't cover motorcycles, though they'll move my 2 cars, and they quoted me 1200 bucks to ship the bike[:'(]
I know shipping can be had for less than that
Any ideas are appreciated
I've used haulbikes.com twice. Door to door on a palette. *thumbs up*
