Look at it this way:
you get to experience a change of seasons (not just rainy and other)
you get to buy more clothes
your bike will have less miles on it than mine
you will have additional skills like "winterizing"
you actually get to hear "sleighbells"
It's not all bad!

Do what I do. I strap the bike to a stand, set up a few heat lamps, have a fan blowing at high speed, jump on the bike and have my kid shoot me in the face with his air soft gun to get the full effect of the bugs.
