Can anyone give me the directions how to putSaddle Bag Guards on my 06 RG before I drop it again and scratch the bottom of the bags . . . again?
Thanks
I went with the comfort model 49087-01 on my Street Glide mostly because I like the look.
Easy to intall just remember to get the proper hardware. I went with the chrome just because.
These do work very well, now I just set the bike down real easy if necessary.
Dry fit one side at a time to check for fitment and alignment. About 1 hour the first side and about 30-45 for the other. Just have a good place to set your bags down out of the way.
These are the comfort guards. You also need to buy new bag supports. One for each side plus the bolts. On page 438 of the 2007 accessories catalog. BTW, the guards are chrome and the supports are black powder coat.
