Im going against the grain but I dont care what Harley calls it, I call it an "Electra Glide". Fancier models are Classics and Ultras but mine is just"Electra Glide". To me the"Standard" namesounds like some sort of slam maybe to get you to buy stuff you dont want. Best bike ever.
I wouldn't really think of it as a slam more of a bare neccessities statement. Touring suspension, hard bags, fairing etc. The standard is a great bike no doubt.
