My sert came with the cables needed when I bought it in 06 the last dyno tune I had done I took the sert and cables in the box for tuning just looked and realized when they gave it back to me it was light1 cable[:@]. Does anyone know if this is a serial cable or null modem cable?

 

It's a serial cable but I think you bought the cable seperate. I don't think it came with the SERT

 

Thanks, I should have a serial cable or two laying around, I need to flash my new map for the new build and the cable is a must have.

Sert used to come with the cables, they wanted to go up on the price so they just figured they could sell the cables for another 29.00 now they are seperate..

 

Is this serial cable a normal PC serial cable?

Has anyone triedDIY so far? I am talking about DIY those 2 that costs 29 bucks a set..
