My dad is a WWII vet of the Pacific theater. He was an aircraft mechanic and involved all the way through to the nuke bombing and the end of the war. Hard to get him to talk much about about it, but they were all heros in my eyes.
Its snowing here too, got a few inches so far, suppose to be several more by tomorrow morning.

it's certainly a day that should never forgotten. I lost 2 uncles in WWII. my greatest thanks and appreciation to every veteran you truly know the price of freedom...stand tall my soldier friends!
