Default Pictures of Notches...

I am getting ready to do Handlebars...

I have decided that I am going to purchase one of the $50 sets from HD and "Mod" them to fit the 2008's...

I was wondering before I even spent the money on the bars...

DOES ANYONE HAVE PICTURES OF THE NOTCHES ON THE HANDLEBARS??? Just so I can see what I am going to get myself into before I acturally go and do it...

THANKS!!! Hope someone can help me out!!!

RON

I found it best to make note of where the notches are on the stock bar while it is in position on the bike. Then I took the throttle sensor out and installed it into the new bar without the notches and made marks as to where they should be while the bar was held somewhat as it would be on the bike. Then I used a small cut-off wheel on a dremel and made the cuts, then I used the dremel to smooth them up. Pretty easy

Have you looked at 08 cop rk to see if they're any better. Previous models always looked like they had more rise and set back toward the rider a little more. They're ride by wire too!

08 FLHR>>searching for bars too!

Awesome Idea...

I just looked at the pictures of the 2 bikes on HarleyDavidson.com and it does look like the PD bike does have more pull back...

I wonder what the part # is.. and I wonder if the stock cables will work...

Hope their decently priced!!!

I tried to find out from a local dealer to see if the ride by wire part # was the same>>but he doesn't have the info on 08 cop bikes yet. Would be great if it would work and the rest would fit too.
