I posted this on the tech forum also but I have a question about brakes. I just bought an "08 Ultra Classic and as I slow down, the rear brakes squeel or screech. Was just wondering if it is because they are new and need a few miles to break in or if an adjustment could be needed. Wondering if anyone else had this happen or if it is typical.
HI guys
My 2006 EGC has had the rear brake squeal since new and still has it 13,000klms later. I'm hoping that when I need new pads I'll go with another brand and cure the sqealing.

I posted this same question about a week about ago. A member said its the cheap brake lining they used with the upgraded brembo brakes and to switch to lyndall pads to get rid of the squeak. I think I will just wait untill my street glide pads need to be replaced from wear, than change brands.
Common problem with 08s. My 08UC does it so i turn the radio up. Going to worry about it when i need new pads. Seems to be getting less as i put the miles on.
