Freezing rain just started here in the KC area. Supposed to get 1" tonight and tomorrow. I'm already ready for Spring.

Been watching the weather out there. I'm sorry for you. Nothing worse than bad winter weather. This too will pass.

There is a beauty in the pic's with ice covered trees, but that's as close as I want to get to it. And I thought 40 something today was a bad day.
Stay warm[8D]

Yes, just picked up my mother inlaw in Bethany (West Oklahoma City) today. One of her trees feel on her powerline, so she will stay with us in Edmond for a few days.

While I was making room in the garage for my daughters car so didn't have to de-ice it in the morning, I just had to take a break and fire up the Rood King for a minute just to listen her. Boy it sounded good.

My mother inlaw thinks I'm nuts.

Whathas happened to justrain or snow, We are looking at 1/2 to 1 in. of freezing rain in Iowa tonight and Tuesday, WTF, is this Global Warning thing for real ? I don't remember this shitt when I was a kid, do I just have a bad memory, I don't think so ?? p.s. when I was a kid it was over 50 years ago. Dog Days.
I was thinking the same thing this afternoon. Seems like only the last 10 years or so that ice storms have become a kind of annual occurrence.

I haven't had power for 24 hours. My tree in the back split into 3 pieces. I will post a picture once I get power restored. Good thing for fireplaces.

We may be headed up there pretty quick to help restore power. (I'm a lineman for a large electric utility companyin Texas.) We always like to help get the lights back on for our neighbors. Hang in there guys!

If my Ford was nice and new like the one pictured under the BENT ice covered tree, I would have moved it by now.....
