Hello All,
How many FLHT owners have changed out their mirrors ? I plan on changing mine because I can't adjust them wide enough to get my shoulders out of the way. Anyone else have this problem ?

You must have some wide shoulders there. I've never had that problem. I'm running stock billet mirrors on my SE Roadglide but am thinking of changing to the skull series mirrors.
I have the stock mirrors on my 04 Ultra and I have no problem seeing around my shoulders. Check to make sure your mirrors are turned outward. You might want to check into the fairing mounted mirrors like the Street Glide.
Was running the stock mirrors on my 06 Glide until now, just put on the fairing mounted ones, don't know how I will like them but they sure clean up the bike though.
ALSO, CAREFUL WITH THE FAIRING MOUNTS. IF YOU CONSISTENTLY PLAY YOUR DTEREO AT HIGH LEVELS LIKE I DO, THE VIBRATION FROM THE MUSIC COUPLED WITH REGULAR VIBRATION WILL CAUSE SPIDERWEB CRACKING OF THE FAIRING. A NEW ONE COSTS $384.00
I replaced my Mirrors becouse I couldn't see around my shoulders eather.. I had a black set from my old 99 Night train.. they have longer stems, they did the trick.. H-D has a set of the same in chrome & they go for about $22.00 a set..
My SO has a habit of sometimes putting her feet up on the saddle bag rails which blocks my rear view so I got extended mirrors from Kuryakyn. They work great and give me a much better view of what's behind me.
My 04 EG police bike has the long stem mirrors on it,they are a 'true view" not a convex wide view, what i like is the cars look std size compared to looking smaller and further away, which i think helps with judging the distance better. Not the sleekest mirror ,but user friendly
