I'm basically a noob here. Been lurking for awhile, and postinga littlethe last few weeks. With the help of you fellow posters, I thought I had decided on slip on mufflers, A/C & fuel system for my 07 EGC that I've owned since 9/06, then Jamie came up with his new Rush package that simulates a 2 into 1 exhaust system. So, with winter working against any regular riding, I decided to hold up & see how posters on this forum like Jamie's new system. I know severalof youhave added this system to their bikes, but what I would like to know, is there someone in my geographic area (Nashville, Tenn.) that has the system on their bike, and if so, I sure would like a first hand opinion, plus a live ear review. Like a lot of posts I've read recently, I want a little more get up & go, but I really don't want my bike to be a whole lot louder than stock. A little is o.k., but not like the old SE II's. I've got them on my 1200 Custom, but I'm too old to ride it long enough for the loudness to be a problem. My wife & I like long road trips, and loud pipes wear out the both of us. Sorry for such a long post.
this system is so new that they are probably few riders with it and remember out of the HD owners as a whole there are only a small yet more informed group that is aware of Jamie
Pab,
Like you I've been looking for a set of mufflers with a little rumble without all the volumefor a while now. Currently running the 06 H D Screamn' Eagle (off road) Touring pipes and don't like the sound or volume, so looking to change to the new Rush set up from Fuel Moto or the H D Screamn' Eagle Street Performance (slash down) pipes. I know that it's always better to physcially see and hear a set of pipes you may be interested in, but thought the attached might give you an idea of what the new Rush pipe system sounds like.
