What's the secret to getting the titles to show properly? I ripped a bunch of MP3s that were properly titled in the info fields but I get a bit of jumbled text in the HK display.

It's all I ever use, and have for about 7 years. A bit of a drag to get set-up, but great. There is also a a 'forum' for it if you have any issues.
I did all of the above for the last 8 months but finally seen the light and bought the handlebar Ipod holder. Now I can see what song is playing and change that song at will and it's like having 10 discs with 150 song each loaded right into the stereo. There are some very nice options to mounting your Ipod right on the handlebars and one is sold by one of our own members, just do a search for ipod mount and you will see it.
There is a lawsuit filed against Apple because of exactly this. The suit alleges Apple is conspiring to form a music monopoly by not making the iTunes music available in a format that other music devices can play.
I've found that Amazon.com has MP3 downloads as cheap as $0.89 (no darn cent key on this keyboard - just noticed). From an MP3 I can burn as a data CD convert to an audio CD and load onto everything with Windows XP.

Thats not a monopoly there are TONS of online music stores out there, thatd be like having cable & getting mad you cant get some sattelite only channels, thats gonna get thrown outta court
