Lost our power for 14 days up here in Maine back in '98!! Nine months later our son was born. Go figure!! Now we have a great riding buddy!! Hang in there. This too shall pass ... really.
I just hit the 36 hrs w/o power mark, and they aren't expecting to have it back up for 2-3 days. [:@]Could be worse...I have a co worker that lives out in a VERY rural area....they are telling him 10-14 days.

Guy I work with had to take a generator to his parents somewhere near Mound City. None could be found locally (sold out) so he had to buyone here in Omaha and take it to them! We managed to miss MOST of the ice. Good luck!
One of my riding buddies who lives in Oklahoma City has been out of power for days so he has been hidin' out in the casino.They have there own generators.Stay warm!!!
