I am after some advise, I am considering buying the Millenium Technologies 98 cubic inch cylinder kit for my 2003 FLHRCI. The part number is #RCTC393BK. This kit includes 2 aluminum barrels that are nickel-silicon carbide lined (3 15/16" bore) and comes with matching custom JE pistons, rings and wrist pins. Would this be a good upgrade for my 88" or am I better off getting a 95" SE kit, I am after reliability and torque, I don't want to created a problem as I intend to keep the bike a long time.
I have used the 98 kit and was a good unit and then used the 107 kit as well. I never had issues with the Nikasil cyclinders ,but others have. Both of these kits made really good numbers and lasted well tp punishment.I would personally stay away from the SE95 kit and talk to GMR/HQ/Hillscyde and use your own cyclinders and get them bored out to 98. Talk to these guys first.
