What kind of gloves are you using for winter riding? Don't start all of that fingerless glove stuff. I've got plain Jane gloves and looking to let my wife know what to buy for Christmas.

Still using the Harley vented gloves (not leather) they still are good enough down to 40, the batwing helps a lot.

Carhart makes a waterproof long glove,it looks like there made out of some kind of nylon they are the warmest that I've found and also fairly light weight. Pretty cheap too

Cold weather, can't beat Gerbings....but for everyday riding I like the deerskin gloves I get at my local hardware store....in tan. When they get wet they don't turn my hands black from the dye coming off.....plus they're soft and comfy....I've heard to get the ladies the goatskin gloves, they're supposed to have lanolin in them to keep her hands soft...so I've been told....

I bought a pair of these Hipora lined gauntlets from Fox Creek Leather...it's their budget-priced gauntlet at $42, but they've been working out great for me.
