Ha ha !!! Most guys with boats say, the two happiest days in their lives were the day they bought the boat . . . and the day they sold it.
Harley does need to bring the Tour Glide back (in Road Glide form of course) One of the first "Baggers" I ever road was an 89 Tour Glide. I was very impressed.
Had American Pie blastin, flyin down 680.
What are you smoking? The Road Glide is the replacement for the Tour Glide. As with any of the new generation baggers, you are free to add or remove touring components as you wish. What a great family of bikes.

Looks good!
I was out yesterday pricing the same outfit for my Roadie!
I'm trying to find a docking system that will allow me to run the tourpack in
the solo spot or switch it to run with a passenger.
Do you know of anything that will allow me to do it?
Also want to have the rear speakers done with a quick disconnect to leave the
whole system behind.
Thanks for any input!!

My set-up has a simple plug for the speaker wires. I can remove the tourpak in about a minute. (Yes, I am looking into locks for the detatchable latches.)
As far as your idea of solo vs 2-up . . . Looks like the solo tourpak rack fits on the sissy bar docking points. I have both docking points on my bike of course. That way I can switch from sissy bar to tourpak.
So, you would have to have both docking points installed and then you would have to have 2 tourpak racks and switch your tourpak back and forth. Either that or you would need 2 tourpaks. You will also need a solo seat. As you know, that means big bucks.
All the parts you need are on page 420 of the 2007 HD accessories catalog.
BTW, My tourpak is an aftermarket one that I got on Ebay. It's gelcoat fiberglass. Cost $365 delivered with hinges and latches installed. Then I bought the Hog Tunes Ultra setup for another $350. Then the rack for about $100. Then the backrest on Ebay for $150. That brings it in just under $1000.
