So after the big crash this summer and doing over 11k worth of damage to my glide classic (dunno why they didnt total it) ive come to conclusion after getting it back on the road that i really dont like the Dunlop tires that are on it. Granted the crash was due to a wet on ramp and oil I just dont feel there is enough grip with these tires. Any thoughts on this and what would you run or do you run for tires. I hate to do it with only 4500 miles on the bike but id like to change brands. Also where does one get the kit for a detachable tour pack? Id like to add one to my 06 classic this winter.
Thanks
Dave..
ps: woke up to 6 inches of xmas cheer and more comming down [:@]
I did a search the other day and it was over welming.. Ill look for the tour pack stuff. dioes anyone have a part number for one that works on a 06 glide..
