That's a good idea Pappy. What I want to have done is actually some fat line work within the stripe, so the sign guys may be my best option. Don't most pinstriper's specialize in think line work?
I agree and have seen Mitch Kim's work, but what i want to have done is pretty simple (at least in my peanut head) and not sure I want to pay top dollar for this work. I basically want to minimize the stripe that is on the bike.
He's probably worth going to see though. Never hurts to have the opinion of one of the best.
I met Kakfa ( http://www.kooltie.com/kafka/index.htm) at the local dealer. The man was awesome. And, he seems to be a great guy. My oldest is quite the budding artist, and he took the time to show her some techniques, and let her sit there with him all afternoon, while he stripped bikes. I wanted him to do the stripping for me, but he wasn't going to be heading back to NM, so I had some done at a rally. I am not completely happy with the work I had done, but I got what I paid for. Plus, I figure this will hold me until I can afford a custom paint job. Luckily, the guy I want to paint my bike is local. Danny Balley. The man is amazing, IMO. And, believe it or not, he is very reasonable, price wise.
