was gonna order a clearview shield...BUT ....on top of a current 7 week wait they wont even take my damn order til sometime toward the end of Jan as they're moving.pretty poor planning IMO.
so question is who should i use now??? any suggestions?? just looking for something superior to the OE shield.
I ran into these guys last summer but don't have their windshield yet. They claim you can rub the surface with steel wool and not scratch it. He doesn't have all models of Harley yet but is working on it..I think he has the Ultra and Road Glide right now. Might be worth checking out: www.f4customs.com

Fastaire is a good way to go if you are undecided on height - his shields are priced Very low - good shield and very good customer service... by several...
I ordered a clearview on 12/3 and it will be delivered tomorrow(12/21),I think there faster then what is stated on the website. Clearview makes a very good windshield, this is my fourth one,I use a Fastairefor real warm weather and local riding and the Clearview with a curve for touring and cold weather.
I have purchased inexpensive, but for me acceptable, dark smoked 4" and 8" shields from Americanthunder on ebay--about 25 bucks. They are shipped flat and fit perfectly.
