Default Rinehart mounting ?

After mounting my true duals I noticed that the mufflers are not in the same position on the little mounting slide bracket under the saddle bag. However , the mufflers appear to be even when I look at the back of the bike. What would cause the spacing on the bracket to be off by about 3/8 of an inch. Am I just being to picky?

You are just being picky. Mine are the same. I let it go and moved on which is actually hard for me!

Thanks, It just seems to me that if everthing is even they should be in the same spot on the sliding bracket.

You can easily adjust that differance out with the saddlebag mounting hardware.

Can you take a picture of where you think you are off? If you measure from the rail to the end of the pipe they should be almost even. Perhaps the sliding bracket is what is off - it slides so that can not be used as an indicator.

The mufflers may not be on as far as the original mufflers.

Sounds like your saddlebags are a wee bit out of square with each other. The mounting brackets swivel and should give you the adjustment your looking for. Hope this helps.

On the chrome rail that holds the saddlebag (where the slider attaches) , measure from the end of that to the tip exhaust.
