went to the local HD dealer to see about some hard mount bags and saw an 06 RK police, black with 1441 miles....just couldn't resist...traded in my 05 fxsti..haggled a bit....got the RK for $12995...anyway I'm psyched...only thing is its got the single air ride seat...my question is, can anyone tell me how hard it is or what I would have to do to switch it to a regular RK seat...after doing that and putting on some good slipons I'll be set to cruise ( at least until the customizing bug starts to bite)

Congrats on the FLHPI; removing the seat and swapping it for a civilian seat is very easy. There are posts on this; try the search function. Basically, any pre-'08/post-'96 seat that will fit an RK Standard or Classic will fit you police RK
