Okay guys,I need your help. Anybody here installed a Smart Siren (pn #68328-02) on an'08 Ultra Classic with ABS? On my '03 Ultra Classic the Smart Siren was located behind the right panel under the ECM. The Smart Siren install was a snap. On the '08 however I'm, having problems. Behind my right panel is the ABS unit. Nothing there. The ECM has been moved under the seat. Underneath the ECM is the battery, protected by a housing. No plug for the Smart Siren there either. Okay...moving to the left side, under the left panel is the fuse box. My guess is the plug and mounting plate is under there somewhere....but where? Anybody.......help!!!!!
I am still working on getting my 08' touring service manual......if I had it in my hands already....I would be able to help you out. Did the thing come with any instructions at all for 08' models????

Well..no. You see I pulled a few things off my '03 Ultra and added them to my '08. So my old manual and instructions are of no use. The part numbers for the '08 is the same as the '03. It's definitely locatedon the left side now asopposed to the '03 which mounted on theright side.
Thanks for offering to help though. I appreciate it.
it s simple on an 08 with abs, previousely it was mounted on the foot brake side, in 08,the abs wet to the foot brake side... remove your side cover on the shifter side of the bike, there is a clip ad a plu there, plug the unit in and push hard to connect it to the mounting clip, it should have some vecro to hold the antenn where it belongs, should take 5 minutes otal for insall....
bythe way, it mounts just forward of the fuse box.... I had a hard time findingit too, with no manual, I started removing things like the fuse bx, realizedit was rightout in the open requiring no toos...
