HD adjustable fairing deflectors work!
Wifey got me these for Christmas and they are great! They stopped the wind coming up from the lower edge of the fairing into my face. When open they seem to direct the wind straight back.
One more piece of the buffeting puzzle solved. Last thing is the Cee Bailey SSC I've decided on.

i like the idea of having the ones that open and close...i have them on my UC but i do not have the option to open or close them...maybe a new addition for spring....i may take them off for the warmer riding season just like i do the lowers.

I got the Kry Dragon Sings a couple years ago and they work real good and look great. The wind comeing arround the lower batwing is real turbulent and will come up right into the cheast and chin. But with the dragon you can angle the wind to flow back without the trubulence, just a nice breeze for the summer heat.
If you take off the solid wings yu get some preaty gusty stuff so check out the adjustable wings.

Years ago a now deceased pilot friend of mine got two once in a lifetime opportunities in the same day. To ride on the Wright "B" Flyer and to sit in an SR71 while it was at Wright-Patt. He was a special guy and crazy about both of them.In fact I first heard the term sled driver from Larry. Tragically, he died demoing a an experimental planeat an air show in Florida. Seeing your picture just reminded me of him.
