I purchased one of these chocks yesterday. I have not tried it yet, but just looking at it, it appears that the Chock will contact the front fender of the 08 Ultra as it flips up. The instructions inside states that it will fit virtually any standard motorcycle except bikes with a low front fender. Has anyone tried it yet?

Bought a wheel chock for my 2003 Electra Glide during a State Hog Rally, for considerably more. Looks like a knock-off to me. Used mine in a trailor & it worked fine.

http://www.wikco.com/bpro1.html is the site for the one I have. Provided the materials are similar quality, the price is much better.

I bought the Harbor Freight one today but haven't tried it yet. I don't think it's going to work on the EGC, it looks like it will hit the fender. I hope I can return it if it hits.

Any word on whether this works with an Electroglide? If it stikes the fender, could you grind down the follower enough to clear the fender and still hold the wheel in place? I've got a "ride on" trailer and it would be nice to be able to safely load the bike without "spotters".

You are probably going to have the same problem I had before switching out my front fender. When the chock comes up (check the clearance) it would be too tall and want to hit the fender.

I'm going to change oil today and while on the jack, I'm going to try sitting it on the chock.I'm pretty sure it will hit the fender so I'm scared to try just rolling it on the chock. I tookthe follower off and rolled the bike on the chock, and it is very narrow and the tire comesno where near the front of the chock. I'm pretty sure it'll have to go back to Harbor Freight.I'll know more this afternoon.Jim
