RE: debate between road king touring handelbar or heritage handelbar
First sit on a bike with the Heritage bars, or at least have the dealership grab some from the warehouse so you can hold them on an RK (keeping in mind the seat should match yours).
I really wanted them due to costs ($49),chrome, and the fact that you don't have to get any new cables.
But, they are way to narrow for my shoulder's. I'm 6'3, but I think even a 5'6 person wouldn't like them if they have a wide shoulder stance. Now I'm waiting to try the mini-apes.
I've read lotsa good comments on the Wild1 518 too, but I don't buy unless I can try!
RE: debate between road king touring handelbar or heritage handelbar
I put the heretage bars on my Road Glide and loved them till I put the custom seat on and moved myself back 2 inches, now I have to reach for them a little. What was I thinking? Oh yea, 38 inch inseam needed more room!!! As soon as all my cables wear out it will be a good enough excuse to get some mini apes or something. I bought the stainless ones since that big fairing blocks any view of chrome!!
