I actually didn't even notice theremain milage indicator until it popped up (no I did not read the book cover to cover before I rode)....It popped up when the gas light came on.After a quick calculation it appears it was within 5-10 miles of being acurate...I was actually surprised.
Bev: I hadn't read a word until I got home this afternoon. In fact I'm still sort of 'pick'n and chosen' little bits of the Owner's Manual to read. I have been using the 'A' odometer for my trips and the 'B' for my miles since buying gas on my RKClassic. I automatically went thru the routine and the 'Miles Until Refuel' came up. I was surprised as you and amused because there are so many variables that are going to affect the final result. I will check my results closely and let you know how accurate my reading is.
I really like the color and and looks of your new bike. I am still working weekends, so don't know when I will be able to ride down to LA and meet all you HDForum members in that area. If you get up to Vegas, PM me and I will try to ride with you a little.
Thanks for the comments everyone. I will get busy and post a couple of pics tomorrow night when I am not quite as tired as I am tonight. ............................ BC
