Whitewall cleaning
I've had my '08 EG Classic for about 3 months now andeven though I've tried a couple of products the whitewalls still have a faint bluish tint to them. [&:]
Any suggestions, do's or dont's re whitening them? [X(]

Very simple, get some Magic Erasers(for wheels). These things are awesome and takes about 2 minutes to do each wheel.Just wet the eraser and run it around your tire and then wipe it clean.

I talked to the dealer about that when I picked up my RKC. He said not to use cleaners, etc. just use a brush and plain water. Something about cleaners actually sealing the blue into the white wall. I believe what he said as mine were spotless white.

"Westley's Bleech White you can get it at Wal-Mart." I buy mine at Auto Zone, works well. Use gloves when working with the product and use it outdoors. Read directions and you should have good results.

Magic Eraser and Mean Green or Fantastic cleaner. Easy as pie. I used to use Brillo pads, but this is better by far.

I have seen this question a lot. Although some cleaners could damage your rubber over time, I have for many years used a little gas on a rag, works great and if it damages the tire, I havenât seen it but road wear seems to be the cause for my replacements.
