Default The wave

Ok, we've all seen the posts for people who wave and those who don't and even for those who don't give a damn. Someone sent me a video about waves from someone on a bike in Asia and I couldn't help but pass it along. He adds a funny piece in there about Harley riders as well.

I've been riding for over 30 years and have pretty much done the wave thing, but now days it has gotten to where you're waving every couple of minutes, there are so many bikes on the road. I'm trying to quit, and it's not because I don't give a damn, It's a PITA.

The guy who recorded this video has a bit of a problem staying between the white lines. Also, I did appreciate his demonstration of a Harley rider waving to a sportsbike rider.

I loved it! Thanks for the post. I'm about to go out for a ride and practice my waves. Hope I catch a butterfly or two [sm=smiley36.gif].

Have any of you noticed how a sportsbike rider "poses" while riding. His left hand, in a fist, resting on his thigh, arm in a 90 degree angle, with his weight firmly on the fist. Cracks me up.

I typically wave at the last minute, or I nod my head when I can't get the hand up fast enough.

Figure what the he**.
