Big Brother can do nothing. The dealer buys those as part of a promotion. That is why it says participating dealers. The dealer can sell them since they were not free to him. The reason he won't sell themin his store is because when the next promo comes up everyone will say, I will wait till it's over and buy one.

A few stickers on the tool cabinet, but a Harley wall?

[sm=laughat.gif]

That stuff goes to the nephews/sons of friends. I did give the picnic kit to my niece.

I asked my dealer for one a few days ago when i picked up my new bike, with a couple thousand in doo-dads.

He told me that in order to qualify, the parts/accessories could NOT be part of a bike sale!

What!? Let me just slap a 'stop-payment order' on that check.

In the end, he did give me one .... oh and 2 tee shirts, one for my wife too, living big now.

I didn't really want the thing, or the shirts, but I was damn well not walking out of there without something free!

I got one too. I left that day spending $450 and 2 days later another $250.

On the promo page it read that the gift was a $75 value.

I have that picnic kit sitting in the garage, with the wrapper still on it. I might actually use it at some point... yeah right...

BTW, I would love to have a harley wall. LOL. I tried to talk the wife into letting me do the master bathroom in all harley stuff... but that was not well recieved. In fact, over the course of the 10 years we have been married, all of "my" stuff has found it's way to the garage...

So you can frame the picture of your dealer presenting the free gift to you?
