I installed the "Ironside" grips on my bike. Love them. Little wider than stock and enuff chrome to shine but enuff rubber to provide grip. they went on very easy. Love them.

Out of all the 08' Touring grips available right now, I like those the best, and they are on my short list of potential new grips.

I have never understood why folks change out perfectly good grips or footboards, that are not worn out for an accessory chrome hand grip of foot pads. I wear gloves and boots, always, and am on it mostly unless parked briefly, so the hand grips or boardsbeing upgraded to me either look like Sheyat with flames(??? on a hand grip) don't get it. Unless you're going to chrome out the entire upper, stock is good to me, stock black everything. I think it's a waste unless it's on a Deluxe, but I would not own a Deluxe, but those who do, they look great, especially for chicks, just not for me.

Many people change the grips for something more comfortable.Especially if you have arthritis in your hands like I do! Personally I don't care how they look! IMHO Jrsess

I have the Aleron on mine. Made for the 08s. I think they look great and are very comfortable.
Would you mind very much hooking me up with a link or part number, so I can check them out?
Im looking at the catalog right now 56425-02 shows for use up to 07.
I cant find 08 Airleron in there.
"56425-02
Fits '96-later XL, Dyna®, Softail®, VRSC™ and '96-'07 Touring models."

Just Like every Other part

Gotta play the waiting game

I 2 am waiting on a nice grip from PM I like that style a lil chrome and black mix

Also waiting on a good seat

Got the Ironside cause they were available for 08, but also wanting a set of basic black with chrome tips from PM. Seats are the real big deal. Stuck on the stock seat after having to sell four of my favorite 06 SG seats, not thinking that seats had changed for 08. I have a Mustang Daytripper for 08 back ordered 4-6 weeks.

Getting the Ironside too, but heated. Should be in next couple of weeks and will let you know how they are.
