Well seeing I was once a metric rider,
I wouldhave to ask the question what other brand of riding apperal can you buy?
Sure you can buy some plain non marked jackets and maybe some shirts from the rallies. Go into a Metric dealer and you will see their great inventory and then you will understand why they buy the HD clothes.
The reason I bought all HD stuff was so that it matched my HD when I could afford to buy the real thing. I'm glad that I did now.
So don't be so hard on the metric riders out there wearing HD clothes, that just tells you they want to have a HD someday too.
Bout as kool as us on our made in the usa harley ,wearing our made in china ,taiwan and pakistan GENUINE harley t shirts ,boots and jeans.Makes since to me!!
why not just suggest that they complete the look by removing the metric badges off their bikes andsticking some harley ones on ....could be good for a laugh [8D]
I admittedly don't visit any forum other than the Touring forum very often, unless it's the engine, exhaust etc one, but I gotta ask, "do the other bike forums have to endure such STUPID threads as this? I mean it seems like more and more of these keep popping up in the touring forum. I keep seeing this stupid thread popping up and had chosen to just ignore it, but guess I'm too weak This is so freaking lame it isn't funny. Honestly, no wonder other brand bike enthusiasts get to have a little fun at HD owners expense. Especially when a new HD owner gets his panties in a wad cause someone is wearing "his" brand of MC's clothingAnd if you aren't a new
HD owner it's evenmore stupid...no it's sad Sheesh the more I type, the stupider it gets. I'm going riding.
Not against the rules, I just think that makes her a Poser. Post some pics!

Besides the Road King I have a Yamaha FJR and will wear whatever the fu*k I want whether you like it or not. Oh yeah, I'll be taking the King to Sturgis but am riding the FJR to Alaska this summer if that's ok with the Harley Gods. You see my HD is my 2 upbike and the FJR my solo bike and my wife only will do one trip a year and likes getting naked in Sturgis.....unless that's against your rules too?
To really screw w/peoples emotions......I sometimes wear
a HONDA shirt while riding my Fatboy.
I may even wear a Chevy shirt in my F-150......(Go to a bar wearing a Miller Lite shirt....when they ask you what you want, Say "DUH.......Budweiser!?")
Sorry it bothers you......but IT IS just a shirt.
