This sounds like a really good bang for the buck from what you guys are saying. The only thing that concerns me is MPG. Those O2 sensor eliminators mean the cruise AFR is about 13.5. Would personally rather see it about 14.0.For anyone who is running this setup what is your fuel mileage? Thanks.
You cannot adjust the closed loop mode with the PCIII. The O2 eliminators are a fixed resistor that trick the ECU into delivering a set AFR in closed loop. According to the Fuel Moto site that ARF value is about 13.5. I think that the only way to turn the closed loop mode off is with a SERT. Someone correct me if I am wrong about this. Thanks.
Well........Actually the PCIII with 02 elinators places the computer in "open loop".
The best fix of course is any closed loop system that uses wide band 02 sensors and offers FULL adjustment to complete fuel map and also each cylinder.....Especially if that can be done by bike owner without the recurring expense of a dyno. But such systems are about triple the cost of the PCIII. Lots of folks are willing to pay for them and enjoy the extra bennies of same.
