This is a great community, I just wanted to thank everyone! Today I ordered my '06 Street Glide with the 95" kit, cams, SERT, and SE pipes. Thanks for all of the great information on this forum, plus a couple of you folks that were kind enough to have email conversations with me and answer my questions. I'm confident that what I have purchased will match my expectations, and I haven't wasted any money on a learning curve. (I did that on my Low Rider...)
Plus the good news, timing is everything, the dealer has one arriving next Wednesday! He'll have it ready for pickup the following week. And thanks to James (lil_gmac2) for suggesting this local dealer. Turns out an old biker friend is now the general manager, and while I paid MSRP for the bike, he treated me well on the upgrades and accessories.
I'm glad you got the help you needed here. This is a great bunch of people we have here. Sounds like you got a nice lookin rocket coming your way. Let us know how everything works out.
