I downsized to a 6x12 big mistake, I know its possible to get 2 bikes in but not on my watch, not worth the stress if one tye lossens up. Just my opinion!

You can haul the 2 bikes in the 6X12. Pull the Ultra up front on the left and then run the sporty up staggered on the right. Always use 2 tie downs per side on each bike just in case one might brake or come loose.

I run a 6x12 Haulmark motorcycle designed trailer, which is 79" wide on the inside. I can fit two baggers staggered with no problems at all. Rule of thumb should be 60/40 weight distribution, with 60 being towards the front.

My wife and I both ride EG standards. We bought a Pace Legacy 7X14 TA. It is a drop axle trailer so loading and unloading is a breeze. We added 6 inches to the height and can stand in it perfect. It is still quite a bit lower than most and only about 6 to 8 inches above the roof of my Dodge Quadcab. http://www.paceamerican.com/trailers/legacy/ Anytime you try to trade anything you can expect the shaft. Just my .02

I did it a couple of years ago with my Ultra, I had to remove the bags and tour pack and it was still tight.
I have since sold my trailer, it was just not worth the trouble of breaking down the bike when we both ride.

Tounge weight was a big issue and had to play around a bit with it, I had a side door which made it easier to load, Ultra was up front and to the side and my wifes sporty went in last and to the left

Hope it works out for you

I am no expert but 6' is 72" I think that your trailer must be a 7' which is 84", minus the side walls, probably close to the 79"

He must have meant '7x12 Haulmark' (not sure if they make one). I have a 6x12 and I am 5'11" tall and I know I can't lay down side to side. Please don't ask how I know. lol

I have a 6x12 enclosed trailer and I run the sportster up front on the left and the roadking to the rear on the right. This lets me use the front right and left rear corners for gear. I run the sportster up front because I have a 4ft extension (haul a Lance 1181 camper).

I traded the roadking for an ultra so it shouldn't be that big a difference to accomodate the fairing.

I can also fit both in the back of my truck with the tailgate up, nothing touches.
