I kept cracking my windshields on the center and left side mount. I did notice that I had slightly more vibration on the left side of the fairing than the right. When I pulled the outer fairing to have it repainted, I saw one of the main brackets and both speaker brackets broken. It cost $80 for the 3 brackets. Not more than a month later, someone hit me from behind and I had fairing damage that could have easily accounted for the broken fairing brackets. Figures...[sm=smiley6.gif]
i fixed my left side verticle bracket with "L" pieces. just picked up my l side verticle one the other day, putting it on the same time i do my SG mirrors and hidden antenna.
Lots of extra shakin of fairing or mirrors will tell you....I made mine with strap, and drilled \\;2 holes and bolted them \\;to the \\;remaining brackets....10k later, no problem!
